Dear UCM Parents,

In compliance with the City of Fresno's emergency "shelter in place" order as of 3/19/20 we will be teaching lessons fully virtually on Zoom! I'll outline how that works here: 

1. Go to unitedconservatory.org
2. Click "Zoom Link For Lessons Here! (Updated Daily)" Note: If you are on a tablet or mobile device you'll need to download zoom. You do not have to sign in to zoom to access the meeting. 
3. You'll then be placed in a "waiting room" of sorts and then be invited to a "breakout room" that your teacher is in!
4. Click "join" when invited to the breakout room
5. You'll want to "join audio" which should be on the bottom left of your screen and also enable video. I recommend you use "call using Internet Audio" to use your internet connection to join in. 
6. Have an amazing lesson!
7. At the end of your lesson you'll want to "Leave Breakout Room" and click "Leave Meeting"

Having the lessons online is an extremely safe way to have your lesson and also do something fun at home to avoid cabin fever. In these uncertain times, music can be a powerful force to encourage, motivate, engage and educate your kids. We will be creating some additional free virtual group classes you will be able to Zoom in to learn more about music! I'll be sending out links so you will be able to sign up to the free bonus classes!
