3. What is your favorite thing about your pet?
He’s sweet and super silly.
4. What is one thing you want everyone to know about your pet?
He’s super playful and our favorite game to play is chase the puppy.
5. What’s your favorite story of your pet?
Oreo is a rescue puppy from Pupz N Palz rescue. When we adopted him, we drove to
Modesto. On the ride home, he fell asleep and cuddled with me the whole way. He’s very
snuggly and loving.

What is your favorite thing about taking violin lessons?
My favorite thing about taking violin lessons is finishing a song and feeling accomplished.
What is your favorite piece of yours that you've learned?
My favorite song I’ve learned so far is, “ Go Tell Aunt Rhody”
What are some other hobbies or activities you participate in?
On my free time, I like to play volleyball and draw.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I have a passion for makeup.
What music do you enjoy most? (Listening OR playing)
My favorite genre of music to both listen and play is pop.
Would you recommend UCM to friends/family?
I have been at UCM since June of 2020 and I would definitely recommend it.

Introducing our first March Student of the Month: Skye!
What do you like most about lessons and how long have you taken lessons here?
I have been taking lessons at the United Conservatory of Music since June of last year. I enjoy my lessons because learning and performing pieces is fun and builds my confidence.
What is your favorite piece of yours that you've learned?
My favorite piece that I'm currently working is Tarantella by William Henry Squire.
What are some other hobbies or activities you participate in?
I enjoy playing piano, guitar, painting, and skateboarding. I also work as a school tutor.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I like to collect vinyl and marbles
What music do you enjoy most? (Listening OR playing)
I enjoy listening to all types of music, but classical music is my favorite.

Charlie Bear Alcorn

Australian Labradoodle
2. When did you get your pet?
April 2020
3. What is your favorite thing about your pet?
My favorite thing about Charlie is that he throws a big fit when he doesn’t get his way. He will roll around and talk/argue in a loud doodle voice. He’s a big baby.
4. What is one thing you want everyone to know about your pet?
One thing that I want everyone to know about Charlie is that he LOVES water, and if he sees it he will go crazy.
5. What’s your favorite story of your pet? Charlie is like Marley from Marley and me. One time we went to my grandma’s house with Charlie in the car. My mom rolled down the window, so Charlie could see his Grandma.... and he jumped out of the window and ran to her jumping everywhere. We all had to chase him. He was so happy and zooming everywhere. My mom finally got him and put him back in the car, in the back seat. He jumped back to the front seat and right back out the window.

3. What is your favorite thing about your pet? My favorite thing is when he gets wild and crazy, it makes me laugh.
4. What is one thing you want everyone to know about your pet? I want everyone to know that Ringo likes to give a lot of love. He may bark a lot, but he gives a lot of love.
5. What’s your favorite story of your pet? My favorite story about Ringo is when we thought we lost him, but he was really in the office (spare room) and we forgot about him!

Introducing our January Student of the Month: Savannah!
1. How long have you been taking lessons at UCM?
I have been taking lessons at UCM for 8 months.
2. What is your favorite thing about piano lessons?
My favorite thing about piano lessons is learning how to read music and then being able to play the notes on the piano.
3. What is your favorite piece of music that you have learned?
My favorite piece of music that I have learned so far is Jingle Bells.
4. What are some other hobbies or activities you participate in?
I like doing gymnastics but haven't been able to do it since March. I have been doing a lot of hiking with my family.
5. What is one thing that most people don't know about you?
Most people don't know that I like to be called Sav.
6. What music do you enjoy the most? (Listening to OR Playing)
I enjoy listening to music, because it's peaceful. I like to listen to Christmas songs.
7. Would you recommend UCM to your friends and family?
Yes I would, because I learn a lot from my teacher. In school I have music class and already know a lot from my piano lessons!

Virtual Winter Recital!
]Happy Holidays UCM Family! Last weekend, we held our Virtual Winter Recital and it was amazing! We really enjoyed hearing a lot of our students preform their favorite pieces and our teachers couldn't have been more proud! Great job to everyone who preformed and we hope you continue to grow as a student!
